The Infamous 6, 12, 18, 24 Hour Challenge

Perhaps one of the dumbest party games ever invented, the 6, 12, 18, 24 hour challenge combines both stupidity and boredom.

What Is the 6, 12, 18, 24 Hour Challenge?

The 6, 12, 18, 24 challenge is pretty easy to understand: Within 24 hours a participant must jack off, eat donuts, run many miles and drink beers (Non-alcoholic beverages is fine). The participant is free to assign either the 6, 12, 18 or 24 number to each task.

Therefore, an example scenario may be that a participant drinks six beers, jacks off 12 times, eats 18 donuts and runs 24 miles, all over a 24 hour period. If they accomplish all the tasks, they have completed the challenge. If not, they fail.

The interesting part about the 6, 12, 18, 24 challenge is that participants are allowed to pair which numerical value with each task. That leads to 24 different combinations (4x3x2x1), and a lot of debate about how to best structure the tasks.

Participants can also complete the tasks as they wish, either all at the same time, or bounce between them. For example, if they are better at running, they could choose to run their miles right off the bat and then focus on the other tasks.

My Thoughts and Tips on the 6, 12, 18, 24 Hour Challenge

Not even much of a party game, this dare popped up a few years back.

I think one of the reasons this challenge stays so relevant is because the order of tasks can lead to heavy debating. In fact, I have never even met someone who did the challenge. Most people seem just to want to contemplate and debate what order of tasks they would do.

Here is how I would structure it: If I start at say 7PM and get the running out of the way first, then I would simply spend the next day watching TV and completing the rest of the tasks. I would make sure to drink a lot of water too.

I would be bound feel awful, but if I wanted to complete this challenge, then I guess that’s the price I would have to pay.

Anyways, don’t actually try to do this challenge. It’s stupid and dangerous, especially if you try to run after drinking. Running hungover is bad enough. But it is entertaining hypothetical discussion to have when you are running dry on topics.
